Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

Signify helps sales teams find and act on buying intent. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and product, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain because you deserve to understand exactly what happens with your data.

Who we are

"Signify," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the company that operates trysignify.co and the Signify application at app.trysignify.co. We are based in Raleigh, North Carolina. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at parker@trysignify.co.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details — your name, work email, company, and password when you sign up or start a free trial.
  • Your ICP and configuration — the ideal customer profile, offer details, and signal preferences you set up so we can score accounts for you.
  • Communications — messages you send us for support, demos, or sales.
  • Mobile phone number — if you choose to opt in to SMS alerts, along with a record of that consent.
  • Billing information — processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data — pages viewed, features used, and actions taken in the product.
  • Device and log data — IP address, browser type, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Settings for details and controls.

Signal data

To deliver intent signals, we process publicly available and third-party business data about companies that match your ICP. This is business-level information used to score buying intent, not sensitive personal data.

How we use information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Signify product and website.
  • Generate the daily intent signals and account scoring you configure.
  • Authenticate you, secure your account, and prevent abuse.
  • Respond to your requests and provide support.
  • Send service updates and, where permitted, relevant product news you can opt out of at any time.
  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers — vendors who host our infrastructure, process payments, send email, and provide analytics, all under contract and only as needed to serve you.
  • Legal reasons — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Signify, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing under any circumstance. Mobile numbers are disclosed only to the messaging provider that delivers our texts, solely to send the messages you asked for.

SMS and text messaging

When you provide your mobile number to receive text messages from Signify, the following applies:

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
  • You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our forms. The box is never pre-checked, and consent is not required to buy anything from us.
  • We use your number only to send the account and service alerts you signed up for — never marketing texts.
  • Message frequency varies based on your account activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP, or reach us at 919-906-9457 or parker@trysignify.co.
  • We retain your number and consent record while you are opted in, and keep a record of opt-outs so we can honor them.

Full program details are in the SMS section of our Terms of Service.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe and to notify you promptly if a breach ever affects you.

Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction — you can review and update your account information at any time.
  • Deletion — you can ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Marketing opt-out — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • SMS opt-out — reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving them.
  • Cookies — manage non-essential cookies in Cookie Settings.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at parker@trysignify.co.

Children's privacy

Signify is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of Signify after an update means you accept the revised policy.
